A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Protection Engineer, your day will involve analyzing customer technical specifications, preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables like single line diagrams, and creating configuration files and test protocols. You’ll conduct testing of control and protection panels, participate in project meetings, and coordinate with internal departments and sub-suppliers to ensure seamless integration of components. Flexibility for travel may be required to engage directly with projects worldwide.

Located in Zagreb, Split or Osijek (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze customer technical specifications to better understand aspects of the solutions.
• Preparation & review of substation engineering deliverables such as key single line diagram, detailed design diagrams, signal list, interface points, etc.
• Preparation of configuration files, test protocols and test procedures (ITP).
• Testing control and protection panels (point to point) and functional test of relevant numerical equipment during preFAT/FAT/IFAT and SAT/HAT.
• Participating project meetings or kick off meetings remotely or in person at client premises. Availability to travel based on planned schedule and ad hoc interventions worldwide.
• Coordination with internal departments and sub-suppliers for individual main components and subsystems.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5 or more years of experience in configuration, testing and commissioning of protection systems
• Experience in international and domestic projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Croatian.
• Ability to work independently.
• Competency on specialized configuration tools like ABB CAP 505, ABB PCM600, Siemens Digsi 4, Siemens Digsi 5, Schneider Electric Easergy Studio and eSetup Easergy Pro, SEL QuickSet/Architect, Eberle, MachineFabrik Reinhausen.
