A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Test Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will complete development tests and type tests for HV products. Collaborate with partners to ensure product quality.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan, prepare, and complete development tests and type tests for HV products, ensuring flawless performance and reliability.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive test documentation, ensuring all records are meticulously maintained and easy to access.
- Collaborate with universities, external testing institutions, and internal laboratories abroad to foster innovation and share insights.
- Support service teams and customers by identifying root causes of high voltage or high power failures and proposing effective solutions.
- Assist internal departments such as offer, sales, and engineering with special technical requirements related to high voltage or high power.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and standards, ensuring Siemens Energy remains at the forefront of the industry.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, with a specialization in high voltage or high power electric transmission products.
- Require at least three years of experience in power or high voltage testing for HV product manufacturers.
- Deep understanding and familiarity with GB/DL/IEC standards related to HV products, ensuring strict compliance.
- Strong grasp of electrical theories and principles, enabling you to successfully implement and evaluate complex testing scenarios.
- Ability to analyze the impact of inductive load, capacitive load, and transient voltage in different grids on high voltage products.
- Proficiency in English (level 6 or higher is a plus) and excellent skills in Excel, Word, and other office tools.
