A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Quality Test Technician you will be conducting routine test on voltage regulators, transformers and other products manufactured in the factory per the work instructions and applicable ANSI/IEEE standard. Responsible to ensure product meets all required routine and design tests, ensure smooth operation of test department and help troubleshoot any equipment or production issues that come up. Be the voice of quality and support quality, manufacturing and other teams to improve the performance and make improvements to the product and manufacturing processes by helping implement preventive and corrective measures for problem areas identified.

 How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Act as an order expediter to ensure timely fulfillment of production requirements, adjusting priorities as needed to accommodate changing demands. Regularly generate and analyze open purchase order reports from SAP to identify and resolve potential delays or issues impacting production schedules.
• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages to adjust delivery dates for purchased parts, effectively advancing or postponing dates to align with production needs.
• Proactively coordinate with suppliers to expedite materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Resolve issues related to receiving and invoicing, applying both basic and advanced problem-solving techniques to address discrepancies and maintain smooth operations.
• Update order confirmation tabs and maintain accurate records in SAP and the SFM tool, ensuring all data reflects real-time order statuses.
• Maintain effective communication with buyers, offering support and assistance in their daily activities and interactions with suppliers.
• Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate parties, ensuring potential problems are addressed before impacting production schedules. Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of materials. Expedite supplier materials internally and externally to meet production goals effectively.

 What You Bring

• Proficiency in SAP and other Supply Chain Management (SCM) tools. Proven experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of supply chain and production processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate and interpret reports, identify issues, and implement effective solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing both basic and complex issues related to receiving and invoicing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing production demands.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing both basic and complex issues related to receiving and invoicing.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, anticipating and resolving potential issues before they escalate.
• Proficiency in Excel for analyzing and managing open purchase order reports.
