A Snapshot of Your Day
As an SAP FICO Business System Analyst at Siemens Energy, you will be part of a seasoned IT team dedicated to supporting the future of the energy market. Your role will involve providing global consulting and governance for Finance and Controlling processes within Siemens Energy ERP ECC6 systems. You will work closely with solution providers to ensure smooth business operations and address issues and change requests. Additionally, you will drive process standardization in the S/4 HANA project and oversee the migration from ECC6.
How You will Make an Impact
- Provide strategic oversight of IT service providers, ensuring effective application maintenance and timely resolution of change requests.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement innovative process solutions that drive operational efficiency and business effectiveness.
- Manage global demand for ERP systems, deliver expert process consulting, and support business operations across multinational environments.
- Collaborate with key business partners to gather requirements and develop detailed functional specifications for system enhancements.
- Lead the development and execution of test cases, overseeing all test activities to ensure system reliability and quality.
- Direct small to medium-sized IT projects, working closely with cross-functional teams—including application, Basis, Security, and Service Desk—to achieve project goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience configuring SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with deep expertise in FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO sub-modules (CCA, PCA, IO, PC, COPA).
- Proven track record of global governance, demand management, and business support for IT-integrated processes in multinational environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver small to medium-sized projects successfully.
- Experience managing external providers for ERP system changes and ongoing support.
- Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is advantageous.
