A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly capable, dynamic, and proactive Resident Engineer for tank production. In this role, you will be responsible for the standardization, optimization, and verification of tank production at our suppliers production lines. This position is integral to ensuring the efficient and standardized execution of the ongoing production processes to ensure quality of products.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Regular monitoring of processes to ensure quality and efficiency of production.
  • Identifying and addressing production issues in real time on site at suppliers premises.
  • Documenting and analyzing quality deviations and initiating corrective actions.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of process improvements to improve efficiency and quality both internally and externally.
  • Collaborating with the production team to identify bottlenecks and inefficient processes for optimisation.
  • Creating and maintaining production documentation and regular reporting of production status and issues to the production manager and SE internally.
  • Training and guiding production workers on process workflows and quality standards as well as recognizing of 3rd parties' compliance with occupational safety and health regulations

What You Bring

  •  Degree in technical engineering, preferably in production of steel fabrications and /or mechanical engineering of steel fabrication and painting applications
  • Understanding of quality management or production technology as well as experience in collaboration with suppliers in developing countries will be an asset.
  • Proven experience in production or in similar field as well as in quality assurance and process optimization.
  • Understanding of production processes and techniques as well as of quality management systems and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as hands on way of working.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, on workshop level up to management level as well as ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work flexible hours and to stay several months during project execution at suppliers site.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and production software.

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 59.015,16 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
