A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a motivated Strategic Buyer to join our procurement team who is diligent and meticulous. The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers.

This Strategic Buyer will be based in Mexico City and will handle several commodities within Mexico and Central America countries. They will be the primary contact for our collaborators & our BPO.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Single point and primary contact for assigned commodities within Regional Management & BPO
  • Strategic sourcing
  • Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends to Regional Management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineer or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and supplier management best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • English at professional working proficiency level.

About the team:

The selected person will work jointly with the Regional Management & BPO and other support areas of the Company.
