Snapshot of Your Day:

We are seeking an experienced Quality and EHS Manager responsible for managing the implementation and operation of our quality and environmental health & safety systems. This role plays a critical part in establishing quality and safety requisites, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving EHS and Quality Management processes throughout the organization, with a strong focus on U.S. regulations and standards.

This role will be based at our new Power Transformer factory in Charlotte, North Carolina and will initially coincide with the factory’s construction. During this phase, we will focus on developing our processes, refining our offerings, and collaborating closely with a high-performance team. This will involve all aspects of the commercial setup to ensure we are well-prepared to meet the needs of our customers effectively when factory operations start.

 


How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead the implementation and operational aspects of the quality and EHS systems, including procedures, compliance, and adherence to established standards.
  • Establish and enforce quality and safety requisites for processes and operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations in the U.S.
  • Drive quality and safety initiatives across the organization, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Management (QM) processes, ensuring they are integrated into all operational activities.
  • Monitor and assess the implementation of safety and quality standards, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute plans for standards certifications such as ISO and other relevant certifications for the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure seamless integration of safety and quality measures.
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality consciousness among all teams, providing necessary training and guidance to promote best practices.

 


 What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of extensive experience in managing quality and EHS systems, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to guide and motivate teams toward safety and quality excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety and quality standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO), with a specific focus on U.S. local requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and monitoring Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Management (QM) processes at a senior level.
  • Experience in conducting audits, assessments, and driving certification processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to proactively address safety and quality challenges.
  • Willingness to relocate if not local to the Charlotte, NC area.
