Siemens Energy is looking for a skilled Quality System Engineer to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of excellence at Power Transformers Charlotte. Working along with multiple internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will collaborate to shape a dedicated and lean quality management system, quality programs, risk analysis and continuous improvement practices, in a dynamic and positive environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Lead internal and external audits in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Drive a strong quality culture through transparency, cross‑functional collaboration, and leadership engagement.
- Foster continuous improvement and risk-based thinking across design, operations, and QMS processes.
- Implement digital and innovative quality solutions to enable real-time insights, decision-making, and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and legal requirements while training employees and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or business administration.
- 5 + years of experience and proficiency in quality management in the manufacturing industry.
- Certified in internal/external auditing with a focus on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Proven track record of creating and executing Audit (PDCA)
- Sound knowledge of Quality processes and methods and their practical use
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Must be willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area, if not already local.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
