A Snapshot of Your Day

The Order and Project Manager – Team Lead AP is responsible for the execution of all Compression service orders in the Pacific sub-region (Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Japan – other territories may be assigned). This position plans, organizes, monitors, and drives processes and resources to achieve order and project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget. The Order and Project Manager – Team Lead AP is also responsible for managing and monitoring the backlog of orders/projects, improving customer contact during execution and representing Compression Service to clients whenever needed, driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead a team of Order Managers and Project Managers, being responsible for all compression service orders (Parts, Repairs, Field Service – and any combinations – LTPs, Mods&Ups) in backlog, between PM 80 and PM 700 including complete outage projects. 20-30% domestic / international travel required.
  • Represent Compression in front of clients, being the voice of the customer in the organization while improving customer contact for all service offerings within the region, including regular, proactive, and/or early communication in case of any issues.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of service business deliverables. Achieve revenue, EBIT, on-time delivery (OTD) and project delivery as per budget/schedule targets and drive client's satisfaction while managing claims and support cash collection targets. Responsible for NPS results related to execution. Align and coordinate the execution of service orders together with the PCC Parts Execution team in ME&AP and the global PM organization based on each of the Compression factories around the world.
  • Collaborate with GS and STG project managers (e.g., for full train outages, LTPs) and implement necessary measures to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks, including early issue communication to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate with FS organization globally and with the regional FS teams to ensure proper outage planning and staffing, and timely delivery of reports. Facilitate coaching sessions with the team to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.. 
  • This role can also be involved in directly managing service orders as and when required. Participate in follow up meetings and reviews with different stakeholders, including but not limited to finance, PCCs, strategy, etc. Support the development and implementation of digitalization, software and AI initiatives aimed at ensuring end-to-end visibility of the entire execution process, enabling proactive management and timely resolution of issues

What You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, ideally combined with an MBA or equivalent leadership experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, service business, order management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Experience in Oil&Gas industry or with rotating equipment under a service oriented organization is a plus.
  • Solid computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in project management and/or order management tools and concepts.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP software (i.e. SAP) is highly desirable. Specific exposure in SAP T-codes (VA01 – Sales Order Entry, VF01 – Create Invoice, ME23N – Display Purchase Orders, ME51N – Create Purchase Requisition, VL10B – Create Delivery Note) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, paired with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.Fluent in English, with additional languages applicable for the assigned region being an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel national/international as required (20-30%).
