A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will oversee significant projects that promote sustainability and innovation in the energy industry. Your daily tasks will include working with diverse teams, overseeing project timelines, and maintaining adherence to quality and safety guidelines. You will interact with clients and partners, building strong connections as you address obstacles and pinpoint chances for development. Your efforts will not only boost client satisfaction but also support Siemens Energy’s goal of establishing a sustainable tomorrow.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Establish action plans and maintain the Siemens Energy Project Management and Quality Management Plans while involving relevant partners during project initiation and analyzing contracts for risks and obligations.
- Integrate technical solutions across all (sub-) systems and ensure effective execution of site activities.
- Conduct regular status meetings to document outcomes, oversee acceptance testing, and manage project handover, ensuring quality and EHS compliance throughout the project.
- Gather insights on customer strategies and proactively communicate with senior representatives to resolve issues, conducting lessons learned activities and applying findings.
- Build strong relationships with customers, develop strategic initiatives, and represent the project in decision-making boards while identifying additional opportunities.
- Take responsibility for financial outcomes, review project costing, and ensure regular financial reporting, optimizing gross profit and cash flow while minimizing non-conformance costs and reflecting risk assessments in calculations.
- Align objectives with project staff, delegate tasks, and support team members’ professional development, fostering collaboration and ownership within a multicultural team while actively seeking and providing feedback.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, manage communication across regions, and foster effective relationships, selecting partners and subcontractors based on strategic criteria and engaging procurement early in the process.
- Oversee contracts in NCM, EPC, or turnkey projects, identifying and mitigating claims early while monitoring risks and opportunities, implementing strategies for mitigation, and using tracking tools for early issue detection.
- Ensure adherence to Business Conduct Guidelines and relevant regulations, implementing measures for zero harm in health and safety, establishing a framework for compliance checks, and collaborating with corporate units for crisis management while maintaining the overall quality of deliverables.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience in project managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating multi-million dollar projects.
- Demonstrated diplomatic, management, and communication skills to communicate and advocate with governments/customers, leaders with a point of view, and other key collaborators.
- Proven ability to write technical reports and program documents and deliver presentations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally.
- Arabic language skills and prior experience with customers across the Middle East would be an advantage.
- Ability to travel overseas independently.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
