A Snapshot of Your Day
Join the Business Improvement and Strategic Projects team within Offshore Wind Construction as Business Developer (f/m/d), in a 13-month fixed-term role covering parental leave while maintaining momentum on critical business initiatives. You will lead strategic projects from conception to completion, analyze and improve business processes across the construction workflow, and manage stakeholder communications in a complex, cross-functional environment. From building detailed project plans and risk mitigation strategies to identifying process optimization opportunities and presenting data-driven recommendations to senior management, your work will directly sustain key improvement efforts during the coverage period. This is a senior-level position for an experienced project professional who can work independently, guide teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced offshore wind environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans for strategic business improvement projects, leading execution and monitoring progress against milestones, budgets, and quality standards
- Support the digitalization campaign and new concept introductions in all areas of the department and play an essential role in upgrading the Construction Department.
- Analyze and document existing business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and develop data-driven solutions and process changes for senior management
- Support the implementation of new processes and systems, and prepare detailed status reports, project documentation, and performance analyses for management review
- Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams, provide technical and analytical guidance to stakeholders, and coach team members to build capability and foster knowledge sharing
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, with proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Developer managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion
- Ideally experience in the renewable energy or power generation combined with a demonstrated track record in business process analysis and improvement
- PMP and/or PMI-ACP certification, with strong command of project management methodologies is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex challenges and translate findings into data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the confidence to guide teams, manage change, and engage effectively across a large, cross-functional global organization
- Excellent Command of written and spoken English; Knowledge of German or Danish beneficial but not mandatory.
