A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves reviewing and issuing permits, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors, and ensuring all activities comply with safety procedures, isolation requirements, and EHS standards. You actively monitor ongoing work through field inspections, enforce PTW procedures and LOTO compliance, and serve as a key control point to prevent incidents and mitigate risks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure safe execution of all plant activities.
  • Review, approve, and issue permits while verifying proper isolation (LOTO) and energy control measures.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient work processes.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and site inspections to reinforce safety procedures, risk awareness, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate PTW documentation, manage permit updates, and support incident investigations with corrective actions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in power plant operations or heavy industrial settings.
  • Strong expertise in Permit to Work systems, LOTO procedures, and safety compliance, including risk assessment and supervision of high-risk activities.
  • Solid understanding of combined cycle plant systems, including Gas Turbines (GT), Steam Turbines (ST), Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), and Balance of Plant (BOP).
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams, manage complex tasks, and ensure effective communication and reporting.
  • Proficient in English, with additional knowledge of Kurdish or Arabic considered an advantage.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
