A Snapshot of Your Day
The purpose of our PMO of Strategic Projects & Planning is to provide the Global Service Operations (GSO) team with special projects support, starting with the Service Master Plan. The candidate will report to the head of Business Operations within Global Service Operations (SE GS C GSO BOP).
As a key contributor within the GSO team, you will help us to drive key business improvement measures and long-term business needs for the central services business. These activities guide the business for future success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead key initiatives and improvement projects for the Global Service Operations team
- Service Master Plan:
- Drive the implementation of the top measures identified within each module in the Service Master Plan to improve Central service top line revenue and profit margins
- New Unit/Service Business Integration:
- Examine potential harmonies for improved business alignment between central new unit and service businesses. Develop strategy and implementation plan
- Strategic support for GSO initiatives:
- Plan, implement, manage, and proposed recommendations on strategic projects identified by the Central GSO or Regional Units senior management
- Ensure project objectives are delivered timely, within budget and with tangible business impact
- Participate in the development of strategic project idea generation and required network optimization projects
- Promote and support collaboration with the regional service teams, project entity, distributed business and other key partners and customers
- Develop teams of cross-functional representatives ensuring a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement
- Engage with key stakeholders and work within and across SE units
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 8 years of background and experience in a service business area, e.g. in energy, infrastructure or industries
- Consistent record of leading an effective multicultural and cross-regional working team by ensuring communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and capability to integrate various interest in the favor of Siemens Energy
- Flexibility to adjust and succeed in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments. Ability to move fast with simplicity and ownership for decisions
- A solid understanding of existing purchasing, inventory, marketing, legal, risk management, order management and repair processes. Knowledge of the SE product portfolio
- Technical understanding of the related portfolio of Siemens Gas Services. Must be Fluent in English

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
