A Snapshot of Your Day

A material flow engineer designs, optimizes, and controls the efficient movement of goods, parts, and services throughout the value chain, from material sourcing to final distribution. Their responsibilities include improving supply systems, coordinating with logistics, implementing automation plans, managing inventories, and solving issues in the physical material flow as well as within systems such as SAP.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Education: Degree in Logistics / Industrial Engineering, International Trade.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in similar positions within the automotive industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: KAIZEN, physical and system material flow, cycle inventories, supply chain, KANBAN, PFEP, Lean Manufacturing, data analysis, APQP, ergonomics, office software, AutoCAD, and knowledge of SAP logistics and inventory modules.
  • Languages: Advanced English.
  • Skills: Logistics and supply chain, process optimization, inventory management, data analysis.
  • Competencies: Teamwork, leadership, and team management.

  • Design strategies to improve efficiency in material movement within the plant and external warehouses.
  • Implement inventory management systems to reduce costs and minimize waste.
  • Supervise the supply chain and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to optimize processes.
  • Implement PFEP.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and provide support for launch of new projects.

About the Team

As a Material Flow Specialist Engineer, you will join a dynamic logistics and supply chain team that plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials across the plant and external warehouses. This team works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and project development areas to guarantee timely deliveries and optimize processes through Lean Manufacturing principles.

You will collaborate with professionals specialized in inventory control, automation, and PFEP implementation, contributing to strategic projects that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. The environment encourages innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement, offering opportunities to lead initiatives such as automation plans, supplier negotiations, and new project launches.
