A Snapshot of Your Day
The master's thesis is dedicated to laying the foundation for an AI-driven knowledge expert system. The focus will be on evaluating and selecting appropriate on-premise chat models, as well as initializing, training, and tuning the chosen model by integrating a variety of data sources to provide chatbot users with informative and relevant responses. Furthermore, the thesis will develop a systematic approach to assess the quality of the chat model's answers, ensuring both the practicality and precision of the system. This project offers the master student a chance to leverage their expertise in Natural Language Processing and machine learning in a tangible setting, thereby contributing to the progress of conversational AI in a specialized domain.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
- Support the AI/ML Engineer in model training and evaluation
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate insights
- Document the data science process and findings
What You Bring
- Ongoing Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Python and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
