A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you’ll lead by driving manufacturing and repair processes, development, and improvement projects, and collaborating with combustion design and repair engineering groups to innovate new products. Your work will also impact society by helping to reduce the cost of fabrication and machining of gas turbine combustion components using our innovative manufacturing processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensures the correct practice is pulled up on the production system screen while performing the injection operation.
• Troubleshoot and dial-in processes for injection molding.
• Use lifting devices to remove/install dies.
• Monitor and maintain good documentation practices and adjust machines, set controls, and perform troubleshooting as required by quality criteria.
• Clean and maintain molding machines and equipment for organization and safety.
• Will cross-train in other areas as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1+ years of experience in plastic or ceramic injection mold processing preferred. 
• Experience with Inspection Equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) using the metric system.
• Able to perform math functions using the metric system and read Engineering instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
