A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Supplier Risk & Procurement Resilience Manager you will be part of the Corporate Procurement Center of Excellence and will shape Siemens Energy’s global resilience framework in Procurement by leading initiatives like supply chain transparency and scenario modeling. Your typical day includes guiding supplier risk assessments, leading strategic resilience initiatives and collaborating with business units to proactively mitigate supplier risks while keeping senior management informed on key risks and performance and growing our relationship with external service providers.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You shape and set the boundaries of excellent Supplier Risk & Resilience Management within Siemens Energy on Corporate Level (Governance / Processes / Tools) and fuel the continues evolution of the framework together with our cross functional expert teams and business stakeholders
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives and drive high-impact projects across multiple business areas such as n-tier supplier transparency, scenario modeling for supply disruptions or capacity management, ensuring resilience is embedded into procurement strategies
  • You manage, guide and control that our Supplier Risk Management Instrument (e.g. Supplier Risk Evaluation and Continuous Risk Monitoring) are deployed effectively and deliver actionable insights for Commodity Management and Business Units
  • Actively involve yourself together with cross functional teams in risk assessment and mitigation evaluation and consult business areas on how to cope with challenges and opportunities identified 
  • Drive risk KPI reporting for Senior Management in collaboration with business areas and Procurement Controlling 
  • Drive the selection, implementation and continuous improvement of processes and tools partnering closely with business areas and external partners to ensure adoption and measurable value creation
What You Bring
  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or comparable field 
  • Proven track record in Strategic Procurement, Risk Management or Consulting (consulting experience strongly preferred) 
  • Expertise in predictive and reactive risk assessment, good understanding of global supply chain dynamics, resilience best practices and digital procurement risk solutions
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a results-oriented, hands-on mentality and skilled in structuring complex problems, developing actionable recommendations, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Excellent Project Management and professional communication skills paired with team player mentality and strong interpersonal relationship building skills to manage stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment 
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus; Travel percentage ~ 10%
