A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Long-Term Planner (LTP) to support service execution across our North American wind fleet. This role is responsible for developing 12–24-month service plans that ensure preventive maintenance, retrofits, and safety-related work are fully prepared and executed safely, on time, and efficiently. You will work cross-functionally with field operations, planning teams, supply chain, and quality & safety stakeholders to ensure work scopes are ready, parts are available, and execution risks are identified early.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain long-term service plans (12–24 months) for assigned wind farm portfolios.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance cycles, ensuring readiness of parts, resources, and schedules.
- Lead planning activities for retrofits and QEHS safety alerts, including readiness reviews and execution handovers.
- Track parts and consumables orders, monitor delivery timelines, and escalate risks that may impact execution.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and planning teams to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
- Participate in planning reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and support SGRE’s Zero Harm safety culture.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in planning, operations, maintenance, or project coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple scopes across long planning horizons.
- Experience working cross-functionally with field operations and supply chain teams, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and enterprise planning or ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Experience in wind energy, power generation, or industrial services environments.
- Background in preventive maintenance or retrofit planning, with familiarity in safety, quality, or compliance-driven environments.
