Logistic Project Coordinator

How You Will Make an Impact

• Organization, control, and coordination of logistic activities in projects and the support the project management with status and information.
• Coordinates with Customer / Supplier for all Import and Export shipments including temporary import and export goods.
• Preparation of complete set of documents for export shipments.
• Checking, creating, and coordinating export/ import and duty documents to assure both the compliance of internal and lawful terms and the customer demands.
• Coordinating transports based on defined dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts.
• Arrange for goods picks up at supplier with all transport’s modes.
• Coordination of dispatch activities based on defined logistics concepts.
• Clarification of documents with all involved internal and external business partners
• Coordination with authorities and regulators for logistics requirements (e.g. Police escort, Qatar Steel Approval, Customs approval, Permits and Approvals, etc.)
• Supports the project team with site coordination during outage period.
• Coordinates with Procurement team to finalize the freight forwarder for import / export shipments.
• You will be the Customs Associate handling the operational & non-operational customs topic of the entity in close alignment with Customs Responsible for the region.

What You Bring

• Ideally at 3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics and site coordination.
• Experience in permanent and temporary shipment import and export.
• Experience in handling approvals, procedures, requirements with customs and other authorities.
• Good knowledge of English written and spoken.
• Must be based in Qatar with a valid driving license.
• Experience in multicultural teams is required.
• Result driven, Initiative, Team Player & self-motivated.
