Imagine being part of an international team of 12 highly skilled structural engineers as you drive innovation in wind power technology. You’ll be at the forefront of developing and applying a system model framework that integrates geometric designs, FE model pre/post-processing, reduced order modelling and fatigue calculations. From Brande, Denmark, you will collaborate with colleagues in Denmark, Spain, India and the US to enhance the Nacelle Module design practice. Your day is filled with opportunities to expand simulation capabilities, ensuring quality and innovation in main load-carrying components. How You’ll Make an Impact

You will be part of a team where we support each other in:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive global models for product development.
• Applying deep understanding of mechanical systems to assess the structural behaviour of components on the main load path.
• Utilizing expertise in scripting languages to improve our processes while carefully considering interdependencies for robust integration in the entire value chain.
• Translating complex physics into simplified numerical capabilities in a system model framework.
• Validating numerical models and capabilities against real-world measurements.
• Showing respect and humility towards the complexity of the necessary architecture required for a codebase to effectively and consistently model large systems.

What You Bring

• A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with over 4 years of industry experience and a deep knowledge in structural mechanics.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Matlab, and Ansys APDL.

• An understanding of numerical tool chains and communication across systems.
• FE modelling capabilities with experience in contact and joint modelling.
• A desire to engage in leading technical project meetings with many stakeholders to enhance cooperation.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, and thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
