A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Junior Expert (m/f/d) Dielectrics

 you will be part of a global team in a research and development environment. With your experience in insulation design for transformers you will develop new solutions and support the further improvement of existing products. Your focus will be on dielectric insulation arrangements for transformers.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Work as a Development Engineer in the Dielectric Team, focusing on insulation design for power transformers
  • Support the development and implementation of standardized insulation arrangements and innovative solutions
  • Translate technical rules and standards into practical applications for industry compliance
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction measures while ensuring quality and reliability of insulation solutions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals
  • Define and process experiments in laboratories and manufacturing (internal/external)
What You Bring
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Technology, or a related field
  • First years of experience in developing, preparing, and supporting experiments, preferably with high voltage activity
  • Interest in developing and designing insulation solutions for power transformers or similar fields
  • Knowledge of high voltage technology and relevant norms and standards
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, including numerical field analysis (FEM) and statistical evaluation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or German, with teamwork capabilities in a dynamic environment

Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of :  € 52.853,76 gross anual – 3.775,27  € gross monthly.
