How You’ll Make an Impact

In the Role as Sub-Region Sales Head Distributed you are responsible for the go-to market in the southeast Europe sub region. The go-to market covers all sales activities, from lead identification to closure, across the complete service portfolio.

The Sub Regional Sales Head will be responsible and accountable for

  • Leading the Sales Distributed team in sub region Southeast Europe in the regional service Europe and Africa organization.
  • For service sales project from opportunity identification to order close won
  • Provide leadership and motivation to sales team in the sub region and drive collaboration within the Region EU & AF and relevant functions within Distributed Execution unit.  
  • Determine a clear Product and Customer strategy in strong alignment with the local organization and Product Line teams in Distributed Execution unit. 
  • Responsible to drive strategic campaigns for existing fleet and generate new leads
  • Definition of key customers and strategic accounts with clear strategic approach 
  • Actively drives a proactive Sales approach in entire sub region
  • The sub regional Sales Head together with the respective region is responsible for proper preparation of a Go no Go milestone incl. RE agreement etc.

Reporting

This position reports to the Head of Sales Distributed Europe and Africa within Regional Service Unit of Gas Services.

  • Customer Intimacy - Develop and build strong partnership with customers in your sub region
  • Leadership - Build and develop a strong team. Coach and lead your team towards set targets 
  • Growth - Grow the business and deliver on our financial targets – quarter by quarter – and avoid surprises. Drive the business towards a sustainable growth trajectory also by exploring new business opportunities and understanding the customer demands in detail.
  • Collaboration – Drive a collaborative mindset within the Service Region, Hub organization and with stakeholders in the Execution Units.  

What You Bring  

  • Diploma or Masters Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline 
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience of Sales related functions
  • Excellent service product and market knowledge for the Subregion
  • Strong network within Service and RE organization
  • Ability to develop, market and implement Service product strategy, as well as customer strategies and projects 
  • Excellent collaborator, strong with leadership and people management incl. effective communication, intercultural skills to blend in a multicultural and cross-regional working team.
  • Conceptual thinking, analytical approaches, problem identification and solving
  • Ability and willingness to travel within defined sub region
  • Strong interest and open mindset to develop new and out of the box go to market strategies 
  • English language knowledge:  business fluent

Advantage

  • Experience in Marketing and Sales within Energy Business
  • Language skills as required within Sub-region; English, further languages skills meriting
