The HVDC Control Team sits at the heart of innovation. We develop, test, and validate hardware and software for state‑of‑the‑art HVDC solutions, working in agile, lean environments. Our multinational experts partner seamlessly with engineering, project management, and customers to turn complex requirements into customized, high‑performance systems. As the final quality gate for Factory Acceptance Tests and during on‑site commissioning, we ensure that high‑voltage equipment and control and protection systems meet the highest standards - before they go live.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Take the lead in delivering safe, reliable, and cost‑effective commissioning for HVDC projects from test phase to site execution
- Guide an international team of experts, aligning people, processes, and performance
- Ensure full compliance with contracts, regulations, and occupational health and safety standards
- Coordinate FST/FAT activities at on‑site test facilities, acting as a key quality gate for HW/SW readiness
- Enable seamless construction site execution through strong coordination, clear communication, and structured progress reporting
- Support project management in risk, claim, quality, and HSE management, including systematic non‑conformance handling
- University degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or a comparable technical qualification with real‑world experience
- Extensive experience in commissioning and commissioning management of large‑scale energy infrastructure
- Willingness to work international, including long‑term site assignments in Germany and worldwide, with optional offshore exposure
- Excellent understanding of project management fundamentals
- English fluency required; German language skills are a strong advantage
- Valid driver’s license
