A Snapshot of Your Day

 

You will support a team of domain experts by helping clarify accounting questions, analyze errors, initiate corrections and contribute to process‑improvement activities, with guidance from the Accounts Receivable / Cash & Bank Analyst / Senior Analyst. You will also assist with daily Order‑to‑Cash tasks and month‑end‑closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording in line with IFRS, local GAAP and other relevant guidelines.

You will collaborate with regional accounting hubs, local business teams and other Siemens Energy stakeholders, building strong working relationships. You are expected to listen actively, respond to stakeholder needs and help manage operational issues, taking shared ownership of decisions together with the Accounts Receivable / Cash & Bank Analyst / Senior Analyst.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

 
  • You will help with daily Cash & Bank tasks such as checking bank statement uploads, doing basic bank reconciliations, recording cash transactions, clearing interim accounts, solving payment issues and supporting month‑end activities together with the team.
  • You will support Accounts Receivable work by helping with customer and GL reconciliations, allocating payments, correcting small posting issues, handling cheques or bills of exchange, following up on unallocated amounts and preparing simple reports. You may also help improve or maintain automated payment‑allocation tools.
  • You will assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities, help with ad‑hoc tasks from management and support Senior and Principal Analysts with internal controls documentation. You will also help provide information for internal and external audits.
  • You will help update and create Desktop Procedure (DTP) documents and support efforts to standardize, automate and improve processes across the Accounts Receivable area.
  • You will grow your skills by learning from the Order‑to‑Cash team, asking for feedback, staying curious and taking an active role in your own development.
  • You will take part in process‑improvement initiatives and cross‑functional projects, while building good working relationships with colleagues, customers and partners across Siemens Energy’s global community.
   

What You Bring

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (completed or in progress)
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Fluent in English
