- Oversee and manage the global mobility tax compliance program, including working closely with our global service provers
- Establish yourself as the go-to expert for German mobility tax matters
- Provide expert advice on tax implications for international assignments, including tax equalization, gross-up calculations, and social security considerations
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams as part of developing our tax processes
- Deeply connected to the wider market to ensure optimized compliance and advisory strategies
- Conduct training sessions for HR and business leaders on global mobility tax issues and best practices
- Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities to ensure compliance and address any tax-related inquiries
- University degree in Business Administration or a related field of study
- Longstanding professional experience in global mobility tax, expatriate tax compliance, or international tax, including global accounts and necessary experience in German tax law, ideally from a Big 4 background
- Strong knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly in relation to Germany
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, proficiency in using various HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP)
- Strong English language proficiency and intercultural competence to interact effectively with global colleagues
