As a General Environmental and Employee Health & Safety (EHS) professional, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing programs that promote health, safety, and environmental sustainability within the workplace. Your day will involve inspecting workplace conditions and environmental incidents, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and developing training plans to enhance awareness and safety practices. You will also maintain relationships with the community and stakeholders affected by the organization’s environmental performance.

• Meaningful Project: You will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental programs aimed at preventing workplace injuries and environmental accidents.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Create and implement health, safety, occupational, and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
• Inspect workplace and environmental incidents according to company procedures and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and manage an environmental and employee health & safety training plan to enhance awareness and compliance.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with experience in creating and implementing EHS programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
