Our team is seeking innovative, enthusiastic, and adaptable AI professionals to help drive the energy transformation, with a special focus on the evolving landscape in China.
As a member of our globally distributed Artificial Intelligence team (GenAI Subsection), you will engage in impactful projects across the energy sector. By combining strategic and business insights with the latest advancements in AI, you will help our business maximize value from data and develop solutions and strategic roadmaps that provide a competitive edge—while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements, both in the Chinese market and globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• Supporting the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions, with a focus on responsible AI practices and alignment with local regulations and governance frameworks.
• Collaborating in global, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to drive the adoption of innovative AI concepts at scale, tailored to both local and global requirements.
• Promoting awareness and understanding of AI governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance through training and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Staying informed on the latest trends in AI and regulatory developments, helping the business make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Building partnerships with industry, academia, and regulatory bodies to ensure our AI initiatives are aligned with best practices and market requirements.
• Documenting processes, tools, and methodologies, and regularly presenting results and insights to stakeholders across the organization.

What You Bring
• More than 5 years of experience in IT or AI-related roles, with a strong understanding of Generative AI, its strengths and weaknesses, regulatory compliance, and the application of GenAI in business contexts, particularly in China.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and experience in Generative AI and data science
• Proficiency in common programming languages and frameworks such as Python, LangChain etc., and experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary, multinational teams, with fluency in spoken and written English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Strong customer focus, excellent communication and presentation skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, with familiarity in AI solution deployment and regulatory frameworks.
