A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Services Specialist, you will work as part of the field services team while collaborating closely with the project execution team to ensure all services are delivered according to standards, performance obligations, and commitments. Your responsibilities include supporting and supervising maintenance activities on Gas Insulated Substations, guaranteeing compliance with the highest safety and technical quality standards throughout the process.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute Maintenance Procedures: Perform and support GIS substation maintenance following factory and engineering guidelines, ensuring quality and compliance standards.
• Supervise Subcontractors: Oversee subcontracted personnel to guarantee proper execution of maintenance activities according to established procedures.
• Ensure Quality Standards: Monitor and validate all activities to meet factory specifications and technical requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver weekly technical and administrative reports, as well as a comprehensive report upon service completion.
• Perform & Supervise Maintenance: Take responsibility for executing and supervising maintenance tasks on GIS power substations.
• Compliance: Adhere to and enforce protocols, policies, and guidelines of the integrated management system (EHS, Quality).

What You Bring

• Education & Background: Solid knowledge of high-voltage power substations, with formal studies and experience installing and commissioning high-voltage equipment, or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience installing and commissioning high-voltage equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, CTs, and PTs.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical substations, including installation and commissioning of conventional or GIS power substations.
• Personal Attributes: Open-minded, results-driven, solution-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time.
• Mindset: Ability to adapt to challenges and deliver innovative solutions while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.

About the Team

In SE GT SV, we are responsible for performing preventive and corrective services on high-voltage electrical substations, covering all primary equipment in both AIS and GIS configurations. Our scope includes installation, commissioning tests, and maintenance of high-voltage substations, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with the highest technical standards.
