As a Field Service Team Leader, you will oversee a dedicated team of specialists responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of power generation equipment, including generators and turbines. Your day will involve coordinating daily operations, providing technical support, and ensuring that your team delivers high-quality service to clients while adhering to safety standards. You will foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement, empowering your team to excel in their roles and contribute to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
                                                                                                                                                   
How you’ll make an impact
  • Lead and mentor a team of field service specialists to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate daily operations and schedules for maintenance, repairs, and installations of power generation systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Develop strategies for process improvements and cost savings in service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols to protect team members and customers, particularly in high-risk environments like power plants.
  • Foster excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction with services.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and prepare regular reports for management review.
What You Bring

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in the power generation sector.
  • Technical expertise in power generation equipment, including generators, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team management and client interactions.
  • Proven ability to implement safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Experience in strategic planning and operational oversight to improve service efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting on service activities.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. ​
