A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will tackle operational challenges and troubleshoot issues within tight timelines, process diagnostic data, and develop engineering solutions for complex problems. You will also play a key role in diligently compiling technical documentation. The engineering internship program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the professional world of service engineering, working on live programs that support our global customer base.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various functions and locations within the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business to meet customer needs.
  • Challenge conventional thinking, question the status quo, and drive innovation within the business.
  • Enhance your Continuous Improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma training while taking ownership of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage as an active member of a team comprising Entry Level Talent (Apprentices, Interns, Graduates) to contribute to broader business projects through our culture hub, providing valuable teamwork experiences and opportunities to refine your presentation skills.

What You Bring
  • You are pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, computer science, electromechanical, general engineering, or a related field.
  • You enjoy taking initiative, and with our support, you feel confident accepting responsibility for live tasks and assigned projects.
  • You are adaptable, excel at connecting and communicating with others, and take pride in maintaining a positive attitude.
  • You embrace change and approach unexpected challenges with enthusiasm.
  • You possess analytical thinking skills and seek to deepen your engineering knowledge across various systems.

About the Team
The Engineering function at AGT comprises several integrated teams, the internships in this recruitment cycle will be focused around Technical Document Services, Mechanical or Systems engineering all of which will allow a deep understanding to be developed through the period by complete immersion within the team.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
