How You’ll Make an Impact

• Accurately report Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) statistics.
• Support and coordinate ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards and management systems.
• Maintain annual audit programs and conduct pre/post-audit meetings.
• Coordinate management reviews and implement SHEQ culture across multiple business units.
• Conduct checks on individual risks and participate in accident investigations.
• Implement depot emergency procedures and preparedness plans.
• Ensure compliance with client and SHEQ requirements and protocols.
• Conduct risk, safety, health, and quality assessments, including environmental impact assessments.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic and hard copy SHEQ documentation and document control.
• Conduct internal SHEQ audits and maintain the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system for quality and SHE complaints.
• Assist with appointments and maintenance of the SHEQ system.
• Review and update policies and procedures as needed.
• Capture information related to accidents/incidents in the electronic system.
• Measure SHEQ effectiveness and take corrective actions for sub-standard performance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.

What You Bring

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification or Degree or National Diploma in Health and Safety or Quality Management.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in SHEQ management systems.
• ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 internal auditing qualifications required.
• Experience in SHEQ document control is essential.
• Proven experience in the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Must be registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations is essential.
• Willingness to travel.
