Join our team as a Digital Transformation Engineer and drive the modernization of our factory by digitalizing shopfloor and office processes. You’ll implement innovative digital tools, streamline data flows, and lead automation initiatives that boost efficiency across the plant. Every day, you’ll provide hands-on IT support to plant personnel, ensuring seamless hardware, software, and connectivity operations. You’ll collaborate with central IT and global Digital Transformation teams to keep our systems secure and reliable. During a transition phase, you’ll play a key role in sustaining Operational Excellence, supporting Lean routines, KPIs, and continuous improvement activities. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support and implement digitalization projects for shopfloor and office processes, driving Industry 4.0 initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Develop or enhance simple applications and user interfaces to improve data collection and real-time monitoring for plant operations.
• Provide daily IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity, including installation and maintenance of PCs, printers, and mobile devices for over 100 plant users.
• Coordinate with central IT on network, cybersecurity, and asset management topics, ensuring compliance and reliability.
• Sustain KPIs, audits, and Lean routines, partnering with Operational Excellence leaders to maintain high standards during the transition phase.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset and curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Avanced English and Italian proficiency is needed.
• Comfortable working on the shopfloor and in office environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including visits to headquarters in Trento, Germany, or Austria.

Nice to have: 

• Experience in digital transformation, automation, or IT technical support, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
