A Snapshot of Your Days

Our team have designed and implemented a portal for the customer on base of SAP Fiori which comprises of different SAC dashboards and AFO reports that allows to monitor the aggregated financial situation of a business unit based on data from a multitude of sources. This data is loaded on daily based and financial figures are calculated based on business logic. You monitor the data loads from different ERP systems within Snowflake to ensure the successful completeness of the jobs.

You then become aware that within another SAC or AFO solution some issues arose leading to inconsistent figures. As our backend is based on Snowflake you analyze the whole chain from the data model in Snowflake over the SAP BW data providers which is being used as middleware towards the reporting solution. You also analysis if there is a need to remediate business logic with customer input for correctness of the figures. Having identified and fixed the issue, you close the corresponding ticket, document the solution, and inform the customer.

Now it’s time to start with a bigger implementation task: A new demand has been issued by the customer. You use the rest of the day to understand the required technical details and make a first draft of the design of the required new solution together with the team you are working in.

With your deep understanding of the capabilities of the technology stack you need to facilitate engagements with key stakeholders and helping to solve impediments to deliver data use cases to achieve business value and our vision to become a data driven company.

What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities

Mandatory skills:

• ·        Total 4-6 years of Intensive working knowledge of Snowflake SQL Scripting.
• ·        Working knowledge of PL/SQL and JavaScript with good knowledge of creating Stored Procedures, Functions and Views
• ·        Good knowledge in Snowflake architecture concepts - Cloud Services, Virtual Warehouse, Storage
• ·        Good exposure in performance tuning, optimization on snowflake.

• Expert in Data modeling skills on relational databases especially for data warehousing
• Basic knowledge of SAP BW Info providers/ADSOs/Composite Providers/DTPs

• ·        Knowledge in building end-to-end data pipeline.
• ·        Experience in data migration.

• Knowledge of Snowflake skills like Snowpipe and Snowflake task.

• ·        Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.
• ·        Very good English skills.
• ·        Very good intercultural communication and collaboration skills with minimum 2 years of experience in international collaboration.

• Good understand on Data warehousing modeling.

Good to have added advantage:

·        Exposure to AWS services like AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda.

• SnowPro Certified.
• Certified AWS Data Strategist.
• AWS Certified Dev-Associate Level.
• Exposure to frontend tools like SAC, Power BI, AFO.
• Technical and Functional knowledge on SAP ERP. mainly in Finance, Project systems module.
• S4 HANA embedded Analytics, Exposure to ABAP CDS views.
• SAP Fiori.
