A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Data Analyst/ Computer Science intern at Siemens Energy Lincoln, you will be working closely with a team of data scientists and engineers to develop data-driven solutions that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our business. Your day-to-day activities could include:

  • Analysing complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing and implementing machine learning models
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into business decisions
  • Producing visual representations to support business decisions
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to other team members and management


How You Will Make an Impact

Being an integral part of the team, you'll be working on real-world projects that have a direct impact on the Company’s overall performance. By applying your skills and knowledge you will help us:

  • Optimise energy production and distribution processes
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts
  • Develop innovative solutions for a more sustainable energy future


What You Bring

  • Studying towards, or have graduated with, a data or computer science degree at 2:2 level or above
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, and using Power BI
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for sustainability and energy innovation
