The SE Data Leakage Prevention Specialist is responsible for safeguarding Siemens Energy's sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. This role involves implementing and managing data leakage prevention (DLP) solutions, monitoring data activities, and ensuring compliance with data protection policies. The specialist will work closely with various departments to protect data across all endpoints and networks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Deploy and manage DLP solutions across Siemens Energy's IT infrastructure, including endpoint clients, servers, and cloud environments
  • Monitor and analyze data activities to detect and prevent unauthorized data transfers and leaks
  • Define and manage the Data Leakage Prevention process, drive process improvements
  • Develop and enforce data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Implement global and specific policies to monitor data sharing outside the Siemens Energy ecosystem, including printing, USB transfers, emails, and web uploads
  • Respond to and investigate data leakage incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation
  • Utilize metadata logged by DLP solutions to support incident management and forensic investigations
  • Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data protection measures are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with external providers and collaborators to address and resolve data leakage issues
  • Promote awareness of data protection practices and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data protection and DLP solutions.
  • Familiarity with DLP tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Purview.
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data protection.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
  • Fluent in English (C1).
