A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Cyber Security Specialist – OT Expert, you will be part of our SCADA department within the Project Engineering team in the Offshore Business Unit. You play a central role in Offshore SCADA projects and contribute to ensuring high quality and secure deliveries across the project lifecycle.

Your work is project‑driven and spans both local and international interfaces. On a typical day, you collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, supporting cyber security aspects from early sales phases through project execution. You help ensure that our solutions meet both contractual and regulatory cyber security requirements in a complex and fast‑moving environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Review tender material and sales documentation related to Cyber Security
• Clarify Cyber Security scope according to contracts and specify non‑standard work
• Coordinate Cyber Security FAT and SAT activities
• Collaborate cross‑organizationally with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Support the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) process for project‑specific equipment, ensuring Cyber Security compliance
• Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions
• Execute all sales and project work in accordance with well‑defined internal processes

What You Bring

• Passion for renewable energy and strong motivation to contribute to the energy transition, combined with a technical background and ideally a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, data, or a related field
• Preferably experience from the wind industry, with knowledge of regulatory standards and a general understanding of Cyber Security, IT, data, and SCADA/ICS systems
• Self‑driven and comfortable working in a collaborative environment, with a structured and analytical approach and the ability to maintain an overview of complex tasks
• Confident in speaking up, building strong and constructive relationships, and communicating clearly and effectively in English
• Organised and proactive in planning and executing tasks, with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously without losing focus
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver high‑quality results, even under pressure
• Thrives in a multicultural environment and is motivated by working in a strong technical and customer‑oriented setting, including expected travel of approximately 15–25 days per year
• Challenges yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best possible results, works well independently, and is eager to further develop your professional skills
• Collaborative team player who is comfortable operating across different cultural contexts, with a strong results‑ and customer‑oriented mindset

You will join the Offshore SCADA team within Project Engineering, supporting complex offshore wind projects with secure and reliable SCADA and OT solutions. The team works closely across disciplines, business units, and regions to deliver solutions that support Siemens Gamesa’s role in driving the global energy transition.
