Focus is on mathematical modelling of systems of a diverse nature, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create a controller that will cause the systems to behave in a desired manner. We’re currently looking to add a Control Systems Engineer to our Engineering team at Siemens Energy Gas and Power Services working as part within a Team based in Lincoln (UK)  you will based in the Siemens Energy Pune Office.

Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the design and development of Control Systems for Siemens Energy Gas and Power Services

How will you make an Impact.

• To be able to develop hardware solutions to replace obsolete Allan Bradley Control System equipment to able to maintain the businesses fleet of gas Turbines. 

• To write complex software modules using the Rockwell Control Logix Platform from philosophy document's or convert obsolete control system into Control Logix software driven system.

• Identify and rectify problems found during testing of Rockwell Control Logix software and Allan Bradley hardware. 

• Provide technical support to the commissioning team during installation of equipment/software. 

• Support sales by supplying detailed quotes with regards to engineering times/potential hardware requirements/possible engineering solutions with regards to customer enquires 

What you Bring.

• Ideally a professional accreditation in a recognised engineering discipline preferably relating to the fields of Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation

• 6+ years experience in working on Industrial Controls Systems applications and industrial IT networks, specific experience on Rockwell Control Logix Control Systems and Allan Bradley Hardware is essential, whilst experience on InTouch HMI Software would be advantageous.

• Working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.

• Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
