A Snapshot of Your Day
Our day starts with reviewing key financial results and ensuring accurate month-end closing in a manufacturing environment. You analyze variances against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and providing clear insights into performance. You work closely with finance and operations, supporting decision-making and ensuring alignment between financial plans and production activities. You contribute to forecasting and budgeting, continuously improving financial models and reporting. You also support audits and ensure financial documentation is accurate and compliant. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and non-financial reporting in division and group systems
- Deliver reliable Actual, Forecast and Budget figures across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for assigned Business Units
- Analyze and report key volume KPIs, supporting performance tracking and business insights
- Prepare regular (daily, weekly, monthly) reports, perform deep-dive analyses, and ensure data consistency and reconciliation
- Take ownership of production controlling, including inventory analysis, valuation and reporting
- Monitor production performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvement opportunities
- Drive cost controlling across factory cost centers, including headcount, personnel and non-personnel costs
- Oversee selected OPEX areas and ensure effective cost monitoring and control
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes, improving models, accuracy and transparency
- Ensure adherence to closing and reporting deadlines in line with global and cluster requirements
- Provide structured financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support local management, CFO and key stakeholders
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and controlling standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of controlling processes, systems and data quality
What You Bring
- University degree in Economics or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Confident communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations
- Structured, precise and independent way of working with high attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
- High personal standard for data quality, accuracy and well-structured documentation
