A Snapshot of Your Day
Being a Commercial Project Manager Support is a multi-functional job within the FIN arena. Your tasks are cost controlling, revenue recognition, project reporting, correct financial accounting according to internal and external rules, taxes etc. But you should be also aware of potential risks as well as opportunities, and you know how to manage them. Hence, you should have a clear understanding of the contractual requirements. Does it sound overwhelming or like a chance to grow? We have an established team and trainers that will help you to manage the requirements. You will work closely together with the Commercial Managers and Team in the HQ and will contribute to the overall, success of the project. One thing is for sure, tasks will recur, but no day will be like the other.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee and plan overall project financial performance, providing commercial/financial analysis in collaboration with the project manager and HQ Commercial Project Manager.
- Plan and coordinate business project key figures (sales, costs, quantities, results) for various time periods, controlling the planning process and monitoring results.
- Support the development and analysis of project business data for decision-making, including revenue/cost analysis and risk/opportunity assessments.
- Monitor planning achievement, analyze deviations, propose adjustments, and create early warning reports to track effectiveness.
- Ensure accuracy of project records, prepare commercial documentation for status meetings, and maintain up-to-date data in project management systems (e.g., PMTX, Project Dash).
- Assist the commercial project manager with financial, legal, and tax aspects, including cash flow planning, contractual penalties, and insurance issues.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach to working with customers and cross-disciplinary colleagues, eager to learn and grow.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, with 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in cost controlling, KPI forecasting, project reporting, and experienced in using SAP for correspondence with external partners.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Fluent in English, with German language skills considered a plus; knowledgeable in general IFRS accounting concepts, tax, cost accounting, and statutory accounting (CPC).
- Experience in international project business is advantageous, and skills in digitalizing processes would be a significant asset.
Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
