O roli
A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
Manage and maintain accurate tooling data across multiple systems and locations, ensuring the integrity of the tool catalog and supporting operational efficiency. This position serves as the administrator for the Sunbelt tooling program, overseeing order processing, returns, and reporting.
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
- Serves as the program administrator for the Sunbelt Tooling Program for the tooling depots (Mt. Pleasant & Houston)
- Update kit contents to reflect obsolete parts and replacements; ensure new SKUs are properly documented.
- Maintain inventory of tool catalog images and location data in coordination with tooling engineers and internal contacts.
- Responsible for data entry and identifying and correcting data using quality control methods
- Provide general data entry support across multiple teams on an ad-hoc basis.
- Process all Sunbelt tooling orders and returns, including sub-order creation and communication with Sunbelt.
- Approve quotes based on price and lead times, escalate issues as needed
- Coordinate delivery expectations and logistics with site teams.
- Manage change orders, monitor completion dates, and coordinate tool pickups.
- Ensure proper release of invoices to master purchase orders.
- Provide monthly financial reporting & analytics (i.e. activity, number of orders, number of items ordered, costs, rental recovery etc.)
- Using data identify trends and suggestions for process improvement
- Issue serial numbers for new tooling.
- Completion of all relevant training.
- Support special projects and duties as assigned.
What You Bring (requirements)
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in database administration or tooling/inventory management
- Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy including but not limited to Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic Excel functions (e.g., sorting, filtering, tracking data); ability to learn and apply more advanced features over time.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends, tools, and training relevant to tooling and data management.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in business administration, data management, supply chain, or a related field
- SAP experience
