As the morning unfolds, you dive into reviewing technical specifications and documentation, guaranteeing that everything meets the highest standards. After crafting a compelling technical bid that showcases your team’s unique value, you support technical negotiations with a key supplier, ensuring alignment and favorable terms. In the afternoon, you identify innovative solutions to extend your customers’ fleet lifespans, collaborating closely with them.
As the day winds down, you prioritize customer service tickets, ensuring prompt and effective responses, reflecting on the impact you’ve made and gearing up for another opportunity to make a difference tomorrow.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead all service engineering activities, from crafting compelling proposals to executing projects and ensuring seamless commercial operations, driving exceptional customer experiences.
- Master the details by managing scope, technical specifications, documentation, and engineering quality, while overseeing EHS and progress reporting to keep projects on track.
- Prepare technical bids that meet customer specifications and effectively justify exclusions, driving the Service TLoA process to minimize risks and increase opportunities.
- Negotiate confidently with suppliers and customers, supporting technical discussions to ensure alignment and satisfaction for all parties involved.
- Take charge of obsolescence management, collaborating with customers to extend the operational lifetime of their fleets, enhancing overall customer value.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in process engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 10 years of professional engineering and service experience, including 5 years coordinating international teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, etc.).
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, with fluent proficiency in English, German is a plus
- A passion for energy transition and decarbonization, along with experience in customer orientation and change management.
