Join our Grid Technologies team and provide deep technical knowledge in Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios and advise both our sales organization and customers in capabilities and options on how to use and integrate our products and solutions effectively.

The main products and service portfolios include but not limited to; HVDC including offshore Access, FACTS including SVCs, STATCOMs, Synchronous Condensers, Power Flow Controllers and Support Services (LTSA’s, conditions monitoring etc)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain customer relationships, lead proposal efforts, and collaborate with internal teams to develop offerings.
• Proposal Development: Guide proposal teams and international partners, leveraging experience in risk and chance management.
• Technical Consulting: Consult customers on solutions with deep technical understanding, competitor solutions, and market requirements.
• Sales Coordination: Drive the sales phase by coordinating technical and commercial preparations and negotiations with the customer.
• Project Handover: Lead the project handover to the execution team, ensuring all relevant information is prepared.
• Market Analysis and Engagement: Analyze Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios, contribute to market intelligence, and engage with colleagues at HQ to explore business opportunities.

What You Bring

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios, with the ability to develop market knowledge.
• Industry Network: Strong connections within the Australian Transmission industry, including customers, authorities, and operators.
• Personality Traits: Optimistic, open-minded, and empathetic, with a strong commitment to following relevant regulations and standards.
• Leadership Experience: Experience leading small sales teams, collaborating with partners, and managing various collaborators from opportunity development to successful closure.
• Contract and Sales Experience: Extensive experience in contract negotiation and at least 5 years in sales, market, and portfolio management in an allied industry.
• Qualifications: Engineering degree/diploma or electrical trade background, with project management and design/commissioning experience highly regarded.
• Work Eligibility: Full rights to work and live in Australia.
