A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) Factory Expansion and take the lead on an exciting strategic expansion project within our Grid Technologies organization! Imagine overseeing the design and construction of a state-of-the-art transformer repair and testing facility. You will manage multiple workstreams, from hiring and training operational staff to sourcing and commissioning equipment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and adheres to the highest safety and quality standards. As the Leader of the project, you will inspire your team and drive execution through collaboration with internal teams and external contractors, all while navigating a complex stakeholder environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the design and construction of a transformer repair and testing facility, ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Manage and integrate various workstreams, including staff hiring, equipment sourcing, and logistics setup
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Factory Expansions Project Management Plan, driving execution through collaboration
  • Deliver the project within the approved budget and timeline, achieving Zero Harm and required quality standards
  • Apply advanced project management practices, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, Master’s Degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in facility construction; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in industrial manufacturing or automotive facilities
  • Strong foundation in project management methodologies, with expertise in change management and budgeting
  • Exceptional leadership skills in matrixed environments, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and high accountability
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional proficiency in both spoken and written English, German language skills are a plus

Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of  €66.676,26 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
