A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Bid Project Manager at Siemens Energy in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, GB, your primary responsibility will be to handle the Bid & LOA process for assigned proposals, with the objective of securing quality orders for projects within UK markets. You will support internal partners such as the Proposals Manager and Business Development team in the preparation of pre-qualification documentation and request for information submissions as required.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Support the Proposals Manager and Business Development team in preparing pre-qualification documentation and requests for information as needed.
  • Review invitations to tender and specifications to understand customer requirements and project drivers.
  • Develop a winning bid strategy with the Proposals Manager and relevant Sales Manager, ensuring alignment with business targets.
  • Collaborate with the Capture Team to define scope and timelines for internal deliverables and maintain transparency of bid progress.
  • Prepare and compile high-quality proposal documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and managing the tender negotiation process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal partners, external suppliers, and customers, while ensuring all activities adhere to company procedures and governance.

What You Bring
  • Experience in managing the complete bidding process for multi-million-pound projects.
  • Previously lead bids through internal approvals and customer presentations.
  • Make independent decisions and recommendations to management.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and a proactive, self-starter approach.
  • Foster strong internal relationships and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a background in Transmission and Distribution projects within the energy sector.
