Join our dynamic team as a Rotating Equipment Balancing Engineer, where you will oversee the preparation, high-speed balancing, and testing of turbine and generator rotors. Imagine leading a skilled operations team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring that all processes meet international standards. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our test facilities, ensuring they operate reliably and efficiently. Your expertise will guide the calibration of systems and instrumentation, while your commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards will drive our operational excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will plan and set up rotors for high-speed balancing and testing, ensuring compliance with international vibration standards.
• Lead the high-speed balancing and testing processes, preparing detailed technical reports to document findings.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to mechanical personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Ensure timely execution of work in the test facilities, meeting customer requirements and maintaining quality standards.
• Actively participate in the development and upgrading of facility assets, ensuring they are well-maintained and reliable.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Technical knowledge of vibration diagnostics is preferred, along with experience in supervising operational teams.
• Proven experience in managing operational safety and a strong commitment to health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
• An HNC or formal training in a relevant discipline.
