Quality Engineer shall cooperate with Lead for Quality Management activities to ensure that task execution is strictly aligned to standard operating process.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Checking of different types of quality certificates of raw material, semi-finished parts, machined components as per material standards
- Ensure the content of raw material, semi-finished parts, machined components certificates received from suppliers meets company quality standards.
- Work with the multi-functional teams to advise any deviations in the content of quality certificates. Initiate discussions with multi-functional teams to improve the process
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives into the process to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to investigate and resolve issues that are affecting overall process cycle
- The candidate should have good English communication (verbal & written) & Interpersonal skill to Expedite with supplier/project engineer to meet the due dates
- Good knowledge of various manufacturing process like Casting, Forging, machining and Heat Treatment processes.
- Basic knowledge of different types of PI tools like Six-Sigma, RCA, CAPA
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably 2 to 3 years minimum relevant of experience as Quality Engineer
- Proven work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
- Knowledge of different types of quality certificates, quality documents, Quality Dossiers, material test certificates, EX-ATEX Certificates, quality standards
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point)
- Proficiency in PLM (Team Center/Globus) and ERP system (SAP), Web-based Portals
