As a Quality Controller at Siemens Gamesa in Hull, UK, you will join a close-knit team dedicated to excellence. Your day will be filled with dynamic tasks, from conducting quality checks and inspections to optimizing new quality initiatives. You’ll work with cutting-edge equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will perform both routine and complex quality operations, ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
  • Apply specialized quality systems and tools to conduct thorough product checks, tests, and inspections.
  • Initiate corrective actions when quality standards are not met, and support root cause investigations.
  • Conduct visual analysis and inspections of fiberglass and resin properties, ensuring product integrity.
  • Collaborate on quality improvement programs and report findings to quality management.

What You Bring

  • Strong manufacturing background including working to controlled specifications
  • Experience in digital and component inspections
  • Proficiency CTQ (Critical to Quality) examinations, inspections, and evaluations
  • Experience with statistical data and tolerance analysis
  • Visual aids and preparation for production experience
  • Proactive and action oriented. You will actively seek what you need to complete your tasks
  • Able to work 12hr shift patterns that includes nights and some weekends. (You would normally work an average of 40.25 hours per week)
  • Live within a 30 mile radius of the factory
