The Proposal Engineer - Distribution Transformers will manage the end-to-end commercial and technical proposals for customers located in USA and Canada. Responsibility includes the creation of the offers in the CRM system, costing, review of commercial and technical specifications, pricing, and other activities. The Proposal Engineer will engage with customers, sales agents, business development managers and our several factories to offer competitive technical and commercial proposals in the electrical industry. The Proposal Engineer is also responsible to manage day-to-day operations like booking orders in the system and support the sales organization as necessary.

What You Bring

• Electrical or mechanical engineer with a minimum of 3 years of technical and/or commercial experience in technical sales or marketing (experience in transformers is an asset);
• Self-motivated individual
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in order to successfully interact with external customers and staff within the organization
• Proficiency using personal computers and software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows
• Building relationships
• Negotiation skills
• Results driven
