A Snapshot of Your Day
You work in the exciting world of innovation!
As a PMO Purchasing Support you will be responsible for much of the administrative work around a project with an emphasis around purchasing activities. From the planning phase of the project and throughout its execution, you support project managers and project teams, so project goals are optimally achieved.
Your day kicks off with a review of the tasks on the project management Kanban (planner) board. You dive into high-priority topics, taking charge and making things happen. Throughout the day, you navigate through various tools like MS Office, SharePoint, MS-Project, SAP, ARIBA, MENDIX and more, solving project-related tasks.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You support R&D projects in the field of Electrification, Automation, or Digitalization.
- You ensure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs efficiently.
- You assist the project managers in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project timeline, project reports and project plans.
- You complete project management administrative tasks with a focus on the procurement activities from obtaining quotes, through initiating purchase orders and following up till goods are received and the invoices are paid.
- You develop cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce results
What You Bring
- You have at least 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management roles, purchasing or other related roles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, engineering or related fields so you can have a high-level understanding of the technical nature of the goods / services required in/purchased for R&D projects
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint and you have user experience in at least one of these systems: SAP, ARIBA or Mendix.
- Good attention to detail, self-organization and multitasking skills, proficiency in English
- You are a standout colleague and can work with multicultural teams within our international setup
