A Snapshot of Your Day
You spend your day either in your home office, or in the office together with a highly motivated international team. At the beginning of your day, you get an overview of current topics, for example by checking the pending purchase requisition and order deliveries.
Open deliveries are established and coordinated together with colleagues in Europe, including discussions of delivery terms and conditions with your counterparts in Germany and Norway, or resolving supply chain issues with colleagues in Belgium and Spain. The remaining issues are afterwards successively processed by means of interaction with suppliers, capture of orders and clarification of current orders.
The focus is on the procurement of additional parts from European suppliers for our circuit breakers. You might have phone communication with the supplier in Germany to coordinate order-related topics, or an email exchange with a logistics partner in the Netherlands to ensure timely delivery.
You have autonomy to organize your working time. Regular check-ins with your team members across Europe help to stay aligned and address all challenges collaboratively.
- Receive and process purchase requisitions from order/project managers in several European countries
- Select suppliers, based on agreed upon guidelines
- Continuously review own procurement lists, create and update purchase orders, monitor order confirmation, progress and compliance with quality requirements
- Support and ensure compliance with transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with the logistics team
- Regular meetings with the order /project managers concerning the orders, delivery terms and conditions and supply chain issues
- Live up to the requirements and follow rules and regulations of different countries while working for the respective projects there
What You Bring
- Degree in a technical or business-related field and several years of professional experience.
- Experience in procurement of goods and services and/ or in project management
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working as well as excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork approach.
- Fluent written and spoken English (B2).
- Confident use of MS Office and advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Relevant professional experience in sales, ideally with direct customer contact
- Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote
